TuVida has today launched Young Carers Notts, a new service for young people who care for someone in the City of Nottingham and Nottinghamshire.
Young Carers Notts is a free and confidential service that supports young carers aged 5-17. The service offers practical help and advice to young carers alongside fun activities and social events.
Young Carers Notts also works with professionals to increase the identification of young carers and promote the support available to them in the local community.
The service builds on TuVida’s many years of supporting unpaid adult and young carers in the Nottinghamshire area.
Young Carers Notts is funded by Nottinghamshire County Council and Nottingham City Council in partnership with NHS Nottingham and Nottinghamshire and Nottinghamshire Carers Association.
