Talking about what your child is doing during play is a simple and effective way to support communication and language development. By describing what your child is looking at, touching, or playing with, you help them connect words to actions and experiences.
Example:
If your child is playing with a toy hammer, say: “You’ve got a hammer” or “You’re hitting the blocks.”
