Equation - Service for Men

What is Equation - Service for Men?
Equation is a Nottingham-based specialist charity that works with the whole community to reduce the impact of domestic abuse, sexual violence and gender inequality.

Who can Equation help?
We support men aged 16 years and over, living in Nottingham City and 18 years and over living in Nottinghamshire County.
We work with all sexualities, ethnicities and cultural backgrounds and our support is provided by a dedicated team of qualified Independent Domestic Violence Advocates (IDVAs).
Elevate Youth Club:
Equation has organised a youth club for young men and LGBTQ+ individuals aged 16-22 years who have witnessed or experienced domestic abuse (regardless of whether this has been disclosed).
The sessions will begin in October 2024 and aim to offer practical support with CV writing, university applications, confidence boosting, mental health improvement, domestic abuse and healthy relationship guidance. They will also offer fun activities including sports, arts and much more.
Young people can either self-refer or be referred by a professional (referral form for professionals available for download at the bottom of this page).
