Having someone to provide a listening ear and some practical tips to help you along your breastfeeding journey can be really helpful. Breastfeed Together groups are free sessions where you can chat to infant feeding practitioners and volunteer peer supporters in a relaxed, informal, community setting

Stay and play sessions offer a wonderful opportunity for children aged 0-5 to explore, learn, and socialise in a fun, safe environment. These sessions are designed to support early development through a variety of activities, including sensory play, arts and crafts, singing and story time. It is a great way for children to develop essential skills while making new friends, and for parents to connect with others in the community.

Milk to Meals Wednesday 1:00pm - 2:30pm Bestwood
The group is for parents with babies age from 7 months to one year. Now that you have started weaning and introducing first foods, this group is to support you with balancing milk intake, moving on with different textures of foods, learning about a healthy diet for your little one and moving from mainly having milk to having three meals per day by 1 year old. It is an interactive PowerPoint presentation which will take around 1 hour and you are welcome to bring your child. It is a very relaxed atmosphere in a local health centre and there is plenty of time throughout to ask questions that concern you about progressing with weaning your little one.
