Young Parents Together Tuesday 10.30am to 12.30pm Meadows
Young Parents Together is a peer support approach to mental health prevention within community settings. It is for young mums and dads up to the age of 25 years and their children. The group offers a weekly themed drop-in session providing a range of relevant & engaging discussions around different topics, activities and guest speakers.

Adults and Young People developing their own toolkit to achieve, succeed, maintain wellbeing and thrive. equipped2succeed provides training and support for community groups to empower, enable and equip individuals and communities to thrive. This range of programmes is designed to: improve self-awareness and self-development; enable participants to maintain their health and wellbeing; improve capabilities to positively manage relationships; teamwork skills and social wellbeing; develop self-belief, self-regard and confidence; maintain a positive mental attitude; raise aspiration and improve motivation; improve participants’ capacity to learn; enable participants to understand the power of setting goals, and take steps to achieve them; develop core employability skills; improve communication and presentation skills; enable participants to develop their toolkit of capabilities to be more self-determined.
Weaning Group Tuesday 1PM-2.30PM Broxtowe
The session will cover signs of when your baby is ready for solid foods, what foods to give and what to avoid, healthy meal ideas and much more, as well as a chance to ask us any questions.
Breastfeeding Support Group Tuesday 10.30am till 11.30am Broxtowe
Having someone to provide a listening ear and some practical tips to help you along your breastfeeding journey can be really helpful. Breastfeed Together groups are free sessions where you can chat to infant feeding practitioners and volunteer peer supporters in a relaxed, informal, community setting.
