Free Online Support Sessions for Parents, Carers and Professionals over the Summer
The Autism & ADHD Advocates CIC is offering a range of free online support and information sessions throughout the summer holidays for parents and carers across the UK. The sessions provide practical advice and guidance on topics including autism, ADHD, executive functioning, sensory processing, emotional regulation, and understanding the reasons behind a child or young person's behaviour.
These sessions are open to all parents and carers, including families whose child is awaiting assessment or does not yet have a diagnosis. Participants can join from home, keep their cameras off if they wish, and take part in a way that feels comfortable for them.
Professionals can also sign up to receive updates about future free sessions and support opportunities. This may be particularly useful for family support workers, teachers, SENCOs, social workers and other practitioners who support children, young people and families, enabling them to share information directly with the families they work with.
