This is a peer support session where you can meet with other parents and carers to gain sign posting advice and support. For Nottingham City parents/carers of children/young people up to the age of 25 with autism and/or a learning disability.

The Peep Learning Together Programme is an evidence-based programme which provides information on child development and supports parents in enhancing the home learning environment and supporting child’s development. Peep can support parents in making a real difference just by talking, playing, singing and sharing books or activities together.
Wednesday
Stay & Play - Broxtowe Wednesday 13:00pm to 14:30pm Broxtowe
Stay and play sessions offer a wonderful opportunity for children aged 0-5 to explore, learn, and socialise in a fun, safe environment. These sessions are designed to support early development through a variety of activities, including sensory play, arts and crafts, singing and story time. It is a great way for children to develop essential skills while making new friends, and for parents to connect with others in the community.
Milk to Meals Wednesday 1:00pm - 2:30pm Bestwood
The group is for parents with babies age from 7 months to one year. Now that you have started weaning and introducing first foods, this group is to support you with balancing milk intake, moving on with different textures of foods, learning about a healthy diet for your little one and moving from mainly having milk to having three meals per day by 1 year old. It is an interactive PowerPoint presentation which will take around 1 hour and you are welcome to bring your child. It is a very relaxed atmosphere in a local health centre and there is plenty of time throughout to ask questions that concern you about progressing with weaning your little one.

Every Wednesday from 4-5pm (term-time only) young people aged 14-19 years old can visit Mellish Sports Centre for FREE supervised Gym sessions!

‘Let’s Talk about Sexual Health’ Clinic Thursday 3pm - 6pm Bulwell
'Let's Talk about Sexual Health' clinic for 13-19 year olds held at Bulwell Riverside Youth Centre offers a free & confidential service providing support, advice and guidance around sexual health & wellbeing!
Well Baby Clinic Thursday 9am - 4pm Bestwood
At a baby clinic, families can discuss any health issues and have their child weighed and measured. Appointment only
Midwife Weekdays (Monday - Friday) 9am - 5pm Bestwood
Antenatal care: • check the health of mum and baby • give useful information to help mum have a healthy pregnancy, including advice about healthy eating and exercise • discuss options and choices for care during pregnancy, labour and birth • Support mothers with advice and information when needed.
